UBC Star TV Uganda. We are the Luganda Channel for Uganda Broadcasting corporation (UBC), the National Broadcaster for Uganda.
UBC was established by the Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation Act of 2005 with the mandate to:
Develop the Cooperation into a Public National Broadcasting Centre of excellence, for a purpose of providing electronic media and consultancy services that educate and guide the public
Achieve and sustain comprehensive national radio and television coverage
Achieve and sustain a common carrier status.
To inform, educate, guide and entertain the public through maintaining a suitable national coverage.
