In the framework of the FRONTUR project, an initiative of cross-border cooperation between Spain and Portugal was carried out with the aim of developing and enhancing this territory as a tourist destination. The architects of this project are the Diputación de Zamora and the Inter-municipal Community of Terras de Tras-os-Montes, and it has the support of the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union.
