فروغی بسطامی

Foroughi Bastami (born 1213 in Karbala - died 25 Muharram 1274 in Tehran) was one of the lyricists of the Qajar period. He was a contemporary poet of three Qajar kings: he became famous from the time of Fath Ali Shah, and continued his work during the reigns of Mohammad Shah and Nasser al-Din Shah.
