Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi (born 1285 - died 1988) alias Shahriyar (formerly Behjat) was an Iranian poet from Azerbaijan who wrote poetry in Azerbaijani Turkish and Persian. He was born in Tabriz and according to his will was buried in the Tomb of the Poets of this city. September 17 has been named "Persian Poetry and Literature Day". The name of this name is the anniversary of the death of Shahriar, the famous poet of our country.
