The application Navegante has the purpose of serving the river transportation market that has as starting the municipality of Belém and as destination municipalities served by this service and that has ports and boats registered by ARCON. As for example a boat that leaves from a port of Belém to Ponta de Pedras.
The features specifically seek to inform your user so that he / she gains time, taking into consideration that the person would have to move to the certain port, thus spending money with locomotion, and running the risk of the information becoming outdated. Therefore, the application informs and, indirectly, causes the person to save, even if little, money.
The application aims in the future to offer the payment service via the app and offer its user the path that he will travel to his destination.
The Navegante project was conceived and initially developed by Yanna Pará and Rafael Menezes as the Integrated Project for the Mobile Developer Course of SENAC - Pará. It was first planned as an informative application, version 1.0, however, as it was recognized the potential that the application could achieve, was idealized by them, a second version, where users could possess greater comfort, making the application commercial.
