This book contains a large number of evidence and traces from the Qur’anic verses and hadiths of the Prophet, exceeding thousands, of which were selected in his time by Sheikh Imam Al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him (631 AH / 1233 AD) from the verses of the Noble Qur’an and the mothers of the books of hadiths, which he collected in his book, Riyad al-Salihin, and stipulated that he himself in it. He also mentioned in the introduction to his book that he should not choose from the hadiths except the authentic ones, including what is a path for its owner to the Hereafter, intended by this a path to God’s pleasure and Paradise, and a collection of inward and outward manners, inclusive of encouragement, intimidation, and all kinds of sound behavior from hadiths of asceticism, and the refinement of souls and morals. The purity of hearts and their treatment, and a barrier for them from the types of ugly and destructive things, then these evidence were later associated with explanations and comments by a number of senior scholars on different times, the most important of which are contemporary explanations.
This book (Basil Gardens) also contains evidence and benefits from the explanations of the great scholars of the modern era, the most important of which is the book Sharh Riyadh Al-Salihin by Ibn Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him (1422 AH / 2001 AD). Some of them were mentioned by Sheikh Faisal bin Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Haremli Al-Najdi, may God have mercy on him (1376 AH / 1957 AD) in his book Embroidery of Riyadh Al-Salihin.
The explanations of this book also contained many legal rulings for new and contemporary doctrinal and doctrinal issues, for the most prominent scholars who lived in our time, such as Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen and others, with the selection of the most famous sayings from them, although they are sometimes preferred, but they are the most correct sayings, while avoiding documenting the sayings of these scholars with their names and titles.
