Clube Atlético Monte Líbano was born from the initiative of a group of 30 people on April 4, 1934. The first name of this new association was Clube Athletico Syrio Libanez and, already the year after its creation, had bought the land in Ibirapuera - where It is still today.
The headquarters and first courts were opened a year later and the name, Clube Atlético Monte Líbano, was officialized in 1940 - after also passing by Clube Athetico Libanez between 1936 and 1940.
