The Disabled Information Center of Pantelleria is a planning and programming tool for innovative services to satisfy citizens' social and social-welfare needs.
The CID aims to enhance the offer of social services already existing in the network of local services, through a more coherent knowledge of the reality and phenomenological aspects of disability in the area.
The Disabled Information Center is aimed at citizens / users: interested people, disabled people, family members of people with disabilities, sector operators, teachers, students; other administrations: branches and services for the disabled of the public administration, ASP, social - welfare consortia, mountain communities, schools, universities, employment centers; non - profit organizations: trade associations, social cooperatives, foundations, voluntary organizations; companies; public and private social companies.
The information documentation of the Disabled Information Center contains in its maps and manuals a cross-section of the real situation of disability in the area of reference and on the world of disability in general.
