MENICONI BRACCESCHI (TM)
MENICONI BRACCESCHI (TM) is an Italian brand, belonging to the family of the same name. Family that is an important part of the history of Italy and especially to the Umbria region and its capital Perugia, since 1400.
A story, based on perseverance, will, bravery, character and nobility, of a tradition that began with the birth of Andrea Fortebracci, better known as Braccio Fortebraccio da Montone, after having become one of the leading and most recognized "Condottieri " from Italy.
That is the story we want to share with you in each bottle of our Superior Quality Extra Virgin Oils.
Our effort is focused exclusively on the development of "coupages" or "blends", made with Italian varieties. Why?
The answer is simple. A coupage is unique, has a unique recipe and cannot be copied. Possibly imitated but NEVER will be able to replicate the original blend. That is our strength and differentiating element.
However, as the only exception to the rule, we decided to include, the Monovarietal FAVOLOSA, in honor of its creator, Professor Guiseppe Fontanazza, Director of the Institute for Research on Olive Growing
from Italy, based in Perugia (Cnr-Iro), who left us at the beginning of June,
who we met personally in that city.
We are the exclusive packagers of this unique and exceptional Italian variety in Chile.
Our oils are limited production and direct sales.
MENICONI BRACCESCHI (TM), does not compete with local oils, much less with those that are sold through "retail".
The commitment to expand our brand and product to the Chilean market, through a local producer, was an important challenge. After much work and testing, we agree that Olivares Don Alberto S.A., award-winning producers of Italian varieties in the beautiful Pencahue Valley, Maule Region; They had the quality, good practices, passion and willingness to accompany us on this adventure. It is with its excellent oil and the dedicated work of our OLIO EVO Sommelier, trained in Italy, that we have managed to produce our exceptional EVOO's.
We also offer authentic Buffalo Mozzarella, produced in Chile with buffalo milk, as well as its counterpart, Fior di Latte, made with cow's milk. An Italian recipe, produced by La Bufalina at its farm located in Linares, and which is an ideal complement to our EVOO.
