Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (October 15, 1844, Röcken, Prussia – August 25, 1900, Weimar, Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach) was a German philosopher, cultural critic, composer, poet, writer and philologist whose work has had a profound influence on contemporary intellectual history.
The discovery of Schopenhauer marks the young Nietzsche, then he meets Wagner of whom he is an admirer and will become a close friend.
However, he will quickly fall out with the latter, judging 'Parsifal' as the peak of the degeneration of German art.
He knows the failure of his publications.
