Coinsafe allows you set up backup of your keys/funds using your trusted devices & friends. This allows you to recover your funds/keys in case of any type of loss like loss of your phone, accidental app uninstall etc.
Coinsafe also removes the hassle of writing down mnemonic phrases on a piece of paper and the sleepless nights one gets ensuring security of that piece of paper. Our solution works in such a way that you and only you are in control of your funds.
Setting up recovery :
Choose either a 2/2, 2/3 or 3/5 recovery scheme to set up recovery. In a 2/3 scheme you would need three devices and in a 3/5 scheme you would need five devices.
Recovering funds in case of loss :
In case you lose your phone or you accidentally uninstall the app or there is a factory reset, you can recover your funds by sending recovery requests to your added trusted devices. For a 2/2, 2/3 & 3/5 recovery scheme your request would need to be approved by two, two and three trusted devices respectively in order for you to recover back your funds.
