Several works of art have been placed in the northern edge of Schiedam in recent years.
A large part of this at the request of, and in collaboration with, residents.
In the meantime, a nice collection has been built up. We think very few people realize that. You are so said, surprised every time. A beautiful image. Here?
In order to allow residents and visitors to fully enjoy the beautiful collection, the idea was conceived to make an attractive app. You can use that app autonomously, but you will also be referred to it if you 'accidentally' come across a work. Then the app indicates that there are more works in the immediate vicinity to visit. This creates a kind of sculpture route through the northern edge of Schiedam.
Why only the northern edge? Schiedammers do not often visit the northern edge anyway. They are typical residential areas. Which turns out to be more fun than probably expected.
So: Attention to the works is good anyway. And attention to the northern edge of Schiedam is also good.
