Train Your Brain APP

We are a group of students from the John F. Kennedy educational institution of the City of Barrancabermeja / Santander / Colombia, which decided to design and create an application called TYB (Train Your Brain) in order to be able to provide concrete information and advice to the people interested in Intellectual Disability and everything that understands it

We took on the task of making this app a reality when we saw that many people today are uninformed about this issue and try to prevent mistakes from being made due to such misinformation.

COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT

What do we call cognitive disability?

We speak of cognitive disability when the person shows serious limitations or delay in their intellectual abilities and in the execution of adaptive behaviors to the environment that surrounds them.

What are your causes?

Causes of intellectual disability can include: Infections (present at birth or occurring after birth) Chromosomal abnormalities (such as Down syndrome) Environmental.


Types of cognitive disability

Mild intellectual disability
Moderate intellectual disability
Severe intellectual disability
Profound intellectual disability

That is why our Train Your Brain (TYB) project wants to highlight these issues in order to contribute to a good development in society.
