Freight transport contributes to a substantial part of the emissions generated, as well as to the congestion of city traffic (up to 20% of traffic, 30% of road occupation and 50% of greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Rome Agency for Mobility estimates ). Intervening on this front in the urban context would therefore allow an important reduction of several negative factors. Vango proposes a more sustainable model of freight transport in urban areas, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions and promoting mobility in Rome.
