Everywhere in the Betuwe you will find beautiful fruit orchards. About a third of all fruit grown in our country comes from Rivierenland. That is why this region is also called the fruit garden of the Netherlands! In the spring, blossom can be seen throughout the area. The fruit picking is in summer and early autumn. When exactly the fruits are ready for picking depends of course on the species.
