Until the early 1990s, the Iron Curtain divided Europe into east and west, from the Barents Sea in northern Russia to the Black Sea. The 10,400-kilometer route is now accessible with a long-distance cycle path. The EuroVelo 13 runs through 20 countries, including 14 EU member states.
