"Water Scarcity", caused by global warming and unconscious consumption of water, is one of the biggest problems of our world. Approximately 74% of the world is covered with water, but the proportion of fresh water is only 2.5% of this amount. Only 1.2% of fresh water is on earth and only 21% of it can be used. In other words, we can only use 0.0063% of the water in the world, ie 6 out of 100,000. We should all be conscious about direct and indirect water consumption. The direct water footprint is the water we use directly. Indirect water footprint is the water used in the production and supply of products. Indirect water consumption is many times higher than direct water consumption. Therefore, indirect water consumption is an issue that needs more attention.
