In 2016, around 71 percent of the causes of death in the world were non-communicable diseases (PTM) which killed 36 million people per year. About 80 percent of these deaths occur in middle and low income countries. 73% of deaths are currently caused by non-communicable diseases, 35% of them are due to heart and blood vessel disease, 12% by cancer, 6% by chronic respiratory disease, 6% due to diabetes, and 15% are caused by other PTM (WHO, 2018 ).
Based on this, the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases is a very urgent and important thing to do in order to support the Healthy Living Community Movement Program.
