Literary polemics of the sixteenth century (PoLet500) stems from a proposal presented at the XX Congress of the ADI (Association of Italianists), within the panel Eterodossie and Renaissance, and aims to catalog the many, perhaps too many, controversies of literary topic that characterized the century sixteenth.
Each card includes the following items: Chronology, Topics, Protagonists, Other characters involved, Synopsis of the story, Historical sources, Letters, Literary sources, Bibliography and Author of the voice. The reference to the texts in their entirety will take place - when possible - by connecting to an external url; otherwise a transcription of service will be provided. Always if possible, any reference to an author will also refer to the relative biographical entry.
