The Etorkizuna Musikatan - Future project, music of a musical, participatory and inclusive nature, wants to promote the coexistence and social inclusion of children and young people residing in contexts of great multicultural wealth but at risk of social exclusion, through a musical practice aimed at the creation of an orchestra, as an educational means that enables participants to gain personal and group enrichment, the development of artistic sensitivity and a series of values.
This project is inspired by the National System of Children's and Youth Orchestras in Venezuela promoted by the teacher José Antonio Abreu, who received for his work, among others, the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts in 2008.
The transformative, dignifying and integrating action of music is intended to be carried out through an already experienced methodology, which provides rapid learning of orchestral instruments and promotes values of inclusiveness and multiculturalism, highlighting the wealth of joint work in search of a common goal.
