The mustache, also known as mustache, papa-capim, little star or bowtie or cigarrinha (Minas Gerais), grimace, gola-careta, grimace or mustache (Ceará), occurs practically throughout Brazil. It is locally common in shrub clearings, plantations, edges of brushwood and areas with tall grasses, especially close to water.
