The European Thrush (Turdus amaurochalinus) is a species of bird in the Turdidae family.
It is one of the most known thrushes by Brazilians, either for its physical appearance or for its sad song. In the various regions it has the most varied common names: bone-billed thrush, white-breasted thrush, yellow-billed thrush, bone-billed thrush and crockery-billed thrush.
