The APP "Trees-Bollate Central Park" is designed to facilitate access to the section of the site of Trees Walkers Bollate (http://gdc-bollate.it/). It 'not only addressed to the inhabitants of Bollate, but individuals of all ages lovers of nature interested to know and recognize the Trees. The APP is also directed to the educators of children of primary and secondary schools to facilitate the teaching of the plants.
This APP will aim to:
• illustrate the Central Park trees Bollate, over 40 species in 19 families, and their topographical arrangement;
• promoting the special features of the trees, and you can recognize it by: simplified botanical cards, extensive photo gallery of "our" trees with images taken in different seasons of the year (almost all photos are visible, clicking on them, even at full screen high resolution) and links for further information on botanical sites;
• measure their knowledge on trees and enhance learning with "Quiz on Trees" organized in three levels of increasing difficulty.
App has also added a simple QR code reader to easily access the "botanical cards" framing the QR Code in the present identification cards that the Bollate Way groups have placed on the trees of Central Park.
The APP "Trees-Bollate Central Park" and the site of Bollate Way Groups have no commercial purpose, do not contain links or advertising inserts. No Blog and therefore do not contain user-generated contributions.
No logging and do not collect user data is required.
The access to the camera ( "potential sensing element") is only required for the presence of the reader (scanner) for QR Code: If you scanned the URL that refers to a website page http://gdc-bollate.it, the highlights, in other cases the data is deleted. It does not collect or store any data or user image.
There is not even a history but to run from the Internet browser (Web Viewer).
And an active data connection 'required which may result in the expenditure burden.
