Functions in the short overview:
- Assign favorite playlists to your own categories in the mobile phone
- Have Alexa read all the playlists in that category
Is not it silly to be able to play thousands of playlists using, for example, Amazon Prime Music, TuneIn or Spotify, but never knowing which playlists you particularly like and like? Write down and search for paper is just awkward and contradicts a comfortable voice control.
Now that's over: Manage your favorite playlists within your own categories and let Alexa read the playlists to you in order to choose one that you can then start as usual by voice command.
Create categories for your favorite playlists, e.g. Pop, relaxation, party, etc. Then assign the appropriate playlists to each category. These may e.g. from Prime Music, Online Radio or Spotify. Each category can be marked with a note in which you can enter e.g. You can note with which command playlists of this category are started, eg Alexa, start TuneIn and play playlistname.
Alexa will read you all of your categories so you know which ones you created. If you ask specifically for the playlists of a category, the hint will be read to you, if available, and then all playlists you have assigned to this category.
One-time activation:
1. Activate the "Playlist Overview" skill on your Alexa device by saying "Alexa, activate the Skill Playlist Overview".
2. Install the app, start it and accept the terms of use.
3. Say to your Alexa device: "Alexa, ask playlist overview after connect"
4. Enter the code that your device will then read to you into the app.
The connection and all entered data can be completely deleted in the app even at the touch of a button.
