Originally José Hernández wrote "The Gaucho Martin Fierro" in 1872. In this work a protest against a civilization whose practices lead to the gaucho Martín Fierro to rebellion and isolated from society rises.
In the second part, "The Return of Martin Fierro", written in 1879, in a more conciliatory tone the author seeks to convey a message of reconciliation returning his character to civilization and assessing integration into society, family, work, and respect for others.
