HVAC POSITIONER is the first and only app that virtually places your HVAC system (heat pump, cooling machine, etc.) in a real environment (AR). The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH has developed a process to minimize noise emissions from the population in urban areas. These methods enable a simple, intuitive and at the same time precise handling of the noise emissions. Some of the underlying methods come from the research project RAARA (Residential Area Augmented Reality Acoustics, project number 873588), which is funded as part of the 6th call for proposals “City of the Future”. "City of the Future" is a research and technology program of the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK). It is carried out on behalf of the BMVIT by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency together with the Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH and the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT).
