The switchX system consists of a server and several clients running on smartphones or PCs. The client initiates the connection to the server and is authenticated by username and password. After the connection has been established, the server sends all required configuration data to the client and remote controls the client software during the recording session. This enables a simple handling of the client app and at the same time the best possible control over the result.
