The MBP Monitoring App is intended to be used in conjunction with a mobile device (MBP Monitoring) for continuous, cuffless measurement of blood pressure based on pulse wave velocity derived from ECG and optical pulse signals. Both signals are recorded at the periphery (preferably thumb and index or middle finger) and used to calculate heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and pulse wave velocity. Various HRV parameters are also recorded using the ECG signal. This accompanying mobile app is used for communication with the device, its configuration, display of the raw signals and calculated values, explanation of the recorded HRV parameters, user administration, measurement support and data storage.
