Bedding (straw, wood chips, etc.) is placed on the ground to absorb moisture and provide a comfortable environment for the birds.

3.) Feeding and watering:
Chicks are fed feed specially formulated for their stage of growth. These foods contain an optimal balance of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals to promote rapid and healthy growth. Access to clean, fresh water is also essential to maintaining their health and well-being.

4.) Health care and management: Farmers regularly monitor the health of chickens and take preventive measures to avoid chicken diseases.

5.) Growth and Development:
During the first weeks, the chickens experience rapid growth. They are closely monitored to ensure they are growing evenly and healthy. Environmental conditions, feeding and care play a crucial role in their development.

6.) Storage:
After approximately 6 to 8 weeks (depending on breed and husbandry practices), chickens reach market weight.

7.) Distribution and marketing:
Once processed, the chicken meat is distributed to supermarkets, restaurants and other outlets. Meat can be sold in different forms, such as fresh, frozen or processed cuts.

It is important to note that raising broilers can vary depending on local regulations, animal welfare standards, sustainable farming practices and market requirements. The industry is constantly evolving to adopt practices that are more respectful of the environment and animal welfare while meeting the growing demand for chicken meat.
