Bangladesh is a country of fast growing emerging development and economy. The global development agenda has been lauded worldwide for achieving the "Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)" through various dynamic activities of the government. In addition, the government has formulated various programs and strategies for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). But it is very unfortunate that in the midst of this damadol of massive positive activities of the government, negative activities like child marriage, eve-teasing, drugs are hampering the positive activities and development activities of the government. The government has been working tirelessly to empower women, create opportunities for inclusive education for all, establish a peaceful society and create opportunities for justice for all. On the other hand, incidents like child marriage, sexual harassment, eve-teasing are hampering the empowerment of women and girls, achieving gender equality and lifelong access to education for all. At the same time, horrific negative activities like drugs have emerged as a major obstacle to the establishment of a peaceful society.
Therefore, the time has come to become convinced of the need to build a safe society and a safe country by not saying child marriage, eve-teasing, drugs. Let us speak out against all forms of social crime and injustice and contribute to building a safe Joypurhat.
