TazaCafé is a traceability system that allows you to keep a detailed record of the coffee collection and transformation process. TazaCafé is made up of three applications:
- TazaCafé-Extensionista (TC-Extensionista)
- TazaCafé-Productor (TC-Productor)
- Coffee Cup-Storage (TC-Acopio)
- TazaCafé relies on the use of mobile applications, QR identification codes and cloud computing to ensure:
- Origin of coffee.
- Social and environmental responsibility in the production of coffee.
- Economic sustainability of coffee growers.
- Integration and generational renewal of coffee production.
TazaCafé-Extensionista (TC-Extensionista)
The TC-Extensionist app allows characterizing and georeferencing the coffee farms according to the following parameters:
Geographic location, area and map of the farm and its lots of coffee production.
Batch identification of coffee production.
Variables of environmental sustainability of the farm.
Technical variables of the farm (Machinery and equipment used in the benefit process).
Sociodemographic variables.
With the information obtained from each farm, TazaCafé generates total reports, by farm or group of coffee farms associated with a production chain, filtered by village, municipality or department.

TazaCafé-Productor (TC-Productor)
TC-Producer allows to register work of agronomic management, harvesting and coffee benefit in the coffee farm, in such a way that it makes it possible to mark the bags of coffee once the benefit process is finished, with a QR code or RFID Tag that contains the information most relevant and the location of the origin of the coffee ready for commercialization.
Agronomic management: Facilitates the generation of alerts for the timely and preventive detection of the use of polluting agrochemicals not permitted under FAO standards
Collection and benefit of coffee: Includes the relevant variables such as kilograms of cherry coffee harvested, fermentation and drying times and kilograms of dried parchment coffee obtained.

TC-Acopio is a web service that allows you to manage the coffee bags that arrive at the collection or threshing centers and that are identified with QR codes or RFID tags. Additionally TC-Acopio allows to generate key reports of the coffee farms according to the variables registered in the apps TC-Productor and TC-Extensionista.
