There has been lots of accidents on our Kenyan roads if statistics is anything to go by. The reason behind the many accidents is neither here nor there and the cause of one accident may vary from another.
Yet with all factors constant, there do exist some areas that are prone to accidents otherwise known as black spots and thus the creation of the Black Spots App.
This app basically takes into account these areas prone to accidents and saves them on a user’s device for viewing. Most importantly, when the driver in this case who has this app installed on their android device can be notified before arriving at a black spot and also when leaving the accident prone area as well.
By ensuring that drivers are notified before accessing an accident prone area, may warn the driver and thus enabling him/her to be more cautious while accessing such an area thus giving a chance to both the driver and passenger(s) in the vehicle an assured chance of survival.
