QuickDrift is a testing phase app for quick and approximate calculation of drifts in reinforced concrete buildings. The input data are: number of floors, description of the spectrum according to Eurocode 8, type of structure (walls, frames, dual system, etc.) and the basic period of oscillations. The result that is obtained almost immediately is the elastic drift, from which the design drift can be obtained depending on the "q" behavior factor and various reductions depending on the boundary condition. This app can be used to verify structural models, to create a quick and approximate idea of existing structures, to help with conceptual design, and more. The calculations are based on the concept of "Generalized interstorey drift spectrum", by Miranda, E., and S. D. Akkar. The app was written by B. Isufi and is currently being tested.
