Água para o Futuro

The Water for the Future project is a joint initiative between the Public Ministry of the State of Mato Grosso, the Green Action Institute and the Federal University of Mato Grosso. The project seeks, first and foremost, to guarantee the water security of the urban area of ​​Cuiabá and the future supply of drinking water through the preservation and recovery of the springs. In order for the springs to be preserved and / or recovered, a multidisciplinary technical team made up of geologists, hydrogeologists, forest engineers, sanitary engineers, biologists and other professionals is involved in the activities related to the project.
