METROPOLITAN RADIO - The Evangelization BY RADIO WAVES
Radio Metropolitana FM, Uberaba, began in 1996. It is a dream of uberabenses Catholics who won space in the heart of Don Aloisio Roque Oppermann, then Archbishop Metropolitan Uberaba. With only five months ahead of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Uberaba, Dom Roque inaugurated the Metropolitan Radio. The Metropolitan Radio was one of the first community radio in Brazil to receive the grant and the operating license. Despite the low power and the difficulties faced by community radio stations, the Metropolitan Radio has been exercising with dignity and affection his mission to be the voice of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Uberaba. Today, twenty years later, with another dynamism, radio comes infecting both employees as listeners.
