The Laboratory of Transdisciplinary Studies, Research and Experiences in Education / Lepete, was created from a work context developed in partnership with the Municipal Secretary of Education of Manaus and the State University of Amazonas. This is a continuing training project for in-service teachers - In-Service Training / SFO workshop. This project has been carried out since 2010, and has been present in 24 schools of Basic Education of the municipal public school system (Infant and Elementary Education), attended about 500 teachers and 10,700. Currently the project covers 08 schools and works with 112 teachers of Early Childhood Education and Fundamental Education.
LEPETE is a policy of initial and continuing teacher training at the University of the State of Amazonas, whose guiding principle lies in the construction of pedagogical experiences of a theoretical and experiential nature that are able to subsidize teachers to perceive themselves contextually within of their self-learning process, leading them to rediscover their professional trajectory, life and formation, that is, their historical-social project.
Within the actions developed by the LEPETE Project since 2011, we emphasize the participation of the students of the courses of the Normal Higher School in the Teaching Assistance process and in the development of pedagogical research in the schools participating in the laboratory, consolidating the articulation and or the alliance of the initial formation and continuation of teachers, anticipating Resolution No. 2 of July 1, 2015 of the National Council of Education.
