ResLife is a virtual system for teaching hospitals, based on
methodology of Trustworthy Professional Activities (EPAs). It allows a real assessment of the physician's learning by identifying the activities and procedures that each student needs to know during their specialization, creates an individual journey and accompanies this student during his journey, allowing the teacher to do
student evaluations after each activity performed, conceptualizing it
within 5 training levels, ranging from: “Needs direct supervision” to “Can perform the activity without supervision”. O
system works with 3 connected apps:
1-Student: monitors their development, tasks and feedbacks for each activity performed.
2-Teacher: monitors the evolution of students who are under his
mentoring, the activities carried out, and the level of individual development in each competency.
3-Administrative panel: the institution coordinates the trajectory of each
specialty and monitors the students' evolution, which guarantees the hospital the security of identifying which residents need extra attention so that they develop their skills before being responsible for other lives. Thus, we assure the
quality of learning, autonomy and safety of the hospital
doctor to perform with skill the procedures related to their future specialization. Currently the method of official evaluation of the residency programs is annual tests or even a single test at the end of the course.
