You will Learn English Idioms Every Day Using the Spaced Repetition Learning Technique
Here's how it works:
You click on the button to pick an idiom and choose between the cards the right answer you think it is, and see the right response right away...
Now, Here's How Your Learning is Improved:
If you get the answer right the first shot, the selected idiom will be put on a box for next day check.
Then another test next day and it will be moved to 7 days labeled box if you pass. As long as you pass, the idiom will be moved to subsequent boxes labeled as 16 days, 35 days, 6 months and finally 1 year.
As you keep getting the right answer, your next knowledge test will be spaced out carefully to solidify your learning.
What if You Got it Wrong?
Then, the idiom will be put back on 1 day labeled box for next day test again, no matter which box it was inside before and the cycle restarts all over for that idiom only... and that's until you definitely learn it!
Wait! There is More!
You can add more idioms as you wish in case you find some other interesting ones that are not present in our current database with over 2000 idioms!
And...A Little Bit More!
Also, on the Search button you can mark some idioms as Favorite so you can test your knowledge on them right away, instead of just waiting for a new idiom the next day .
And...Before You Go start learning new Idioms like crazy:
For each idiom to be tested, you will see a label to identify, if that one is the Idiom of the Day, one of the idioms you added or marked as Favorite, or if it's pending, which means that those idioms are to be tested due to elapsed time according to spaced repetition learning technique.
