Monetary Correction performs the correction of an amount in relation to inflation occurred in a given period.
The following indexes are supported by the application:
- General Market Price Index (IGP-M) of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV);
- National Consumer Price Index (INPC) of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE);
- Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
The supported period comprises any time interval in which the current currency is the Real (as of July 1994).
