Otoscopia and Otites RA is an application that uses the technology of Augmented Reality to complement the content present in the book Otoscopia and Otites, written by Doctors Tania Sih and Ricardo Godinho. This publication receives digital updates of surgeries captured in high resolution, edited and aided by computer graphics to standardize teaching and add digital value to the printed publication.
Augmented Reality is a visualization technology with camera, image and tracking! The technology is to integrate computer-generated images into physical environments in real time! Today it is quite popular due to the evolution and the easy access to smartphones that contain digital cameras. When you run the app, your phone's camera is turned on. Simply point the camera to the pictures in the chapter on surgical procedures.
To access the content of the app, you must have the book Otoscopia and Otites.
To get access to the Augmented Reality content of the app, you'll need to authorize the use of the camera on your mobile device.
On the pages with the markers you can access the Augmented Reality content for each surgery individually.
Videos can be viewed in both portrait and landscape mode.
For a better experience, we recommend rotating your mobile device to landscape mode.
