an extension project of IFPE Palmares. The project began in February 2019 and is scheduled to end in December 2019. The project is coordinated by an IFPE Palmares teacher and is run by 2 students of the Computer Maintenance and Computer Networks course.
Palmares is a municipality in the southern Mata region of Pernambuco and also known as the “Land of Poets” [1]. There are monuments, statues and historic buildings in the city that need to be better known to visitors as well as residents and students of Palmares.
This project has as General Objective:
General Objective - From the use of technology, we intend to boost the learning of the history of the city of Palmares, encouraging the visitation of existing material heritage in the city.
Specific objectives:
1. Encourage heritage conservation
2. Creation of a website to register the material heritage of the city.
3. Creating an app with a map that will show you where each of the monuments and historical items is.
