Balance: Assessment of postural balance
Developed by Biomedical Informatics course students UFCSPA as part of the discipline of Software Engineering II, and intended for physical therapists, the Balance application uses of your smartphone's motion sensors to perform a balanced assessment, and present the data in a simple way it's understandable.
Although the results do not overwrite the data generated by a force platform, this application is an alternative to physical therapists who need to perform balance assessments anywhere, and without cost.
