The application of the Chain of Custody System (CMS) was developed for mobile users (phones and tablets) to the query traceability of timber and production of reports of federal forest concessions of the Brazilian Forest Service.
The goal is to provide transparency on forest concessions, as well as allow those interested in purchasing wood screened have at hand an easy to use tool, enabling to prove the legality and origin of timber from a federal public forest exploited sustainably. To query traceability, the user must have on hand the QR Code provided by the forest concessionaire regarding the roundwood that came out of a given area or lumber originating from a forest concession. application data refer to the new version of the SCC launched in 2015.
