The Guardians of Biodiversity aim to engage the community in the record of interactions between animals and plants and thus contribute to the knowledge of Brazilian biodiversity.
The project adopts a model voluntary and conscious participation of citizens in the production of scientific knowledge, creating, in a collaborative way, a database of photos and information about interactions between animals and plants.
It also has a network of experts on a voluntary basis, to identify the photographed species that observations are shared with other scientific databases.
