The International Federation of Krav Maga (FIKM) was created by Professor Avigdor Zalmon, the introducer of Krav Maga in the State of São Paulo.
Professor Avigdor started teaching Krav Magá in São Paulo on January 5, 1999 and has already taught classes to thousands of students, training dozens of instructors and spreading the art throughout the state.
The International Krav Maga Federation aims to promote, develop, foster, massify and democratize the practice of Krav Maga in Brazil.
The pillars of the International Federation of Krav Magá are the quality of teaching following the teachings of IMI (creator of Krav Magá), education to good citizenship and human values as well as love for others and social conscience.
The International Krav Maga Federation not only focuses on regular classes at the academies, but also holds lectures, workshops, seminars, courses for armed forces and security groups, among others.
