Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is an assessment of the basic competencies needed by all students to be able
develop self-capacity and participate positively in society. There are two basic competencies measured by AKM: literacy
reading and mathematical literacy (numeration). In both reading and numeracy literacy, the competencies assessed include skills
logical-systematic thinking, reasoning skills using concepts and knowledge that have been learned, and sorting skills
as well as processing information. AKM presents problems in various contexts which are expected to be solved by students
use literacy competences in reading and numeracy. AKM is intended to measure competence in a manner
depth, not just content mastery.
