About Bužanglo

13 characters have lost their memory. Who is it ? Can you tell the truth from the false? Switch to multiplayer to debate it…

In the shoes of a chronologist with magical powers, you will interfere in the archives of Time to try to recover the memories of people in order to thwart the threats hanging over them. But not everything will go as planned ...

Bužanglo (pronounced Boudjanglo and not Buzanglo), which means in the Romance language both unknown and clever, is a serious game aimed at young people aged 12 to 15. Its goal ? Fight against stereotypes about the Roma, the population that is the most discriminated against in Europe today.

Based on (real) life stories of 13 Roma in Switzerland, the game aims to give a more complex picture of this population in order to overcome the prejudices that concern them. Would there be as much diversity among the Roma as among the Swiss, the French or the German?

Thanks to a poetic universe that looks like a comic strip, immerse yourself in a world that is both imaginary and very real through the situations experienced by the characters.

Discover their diverse and intriguing stories, video interviews and fact sheets to acquire and test his knowledge.

In a globalized world, the question of tolerance of those we perceive as "others" because of their practices, whether religious, social, sexual, etc. arises acutely. These people are victims of the prejudices widely spread by populist, fundamentalist or nationalist movements.

Bužanglo shows how the acquisition of reasoned information can rectify situations of stereotypes and encourage mutual understanding.

Bužanglo is intended both for individual use and for use in the classroom or in a group, thanks to the multiplayer game phase which allows you to unravel "the real from the fake". This is an opportunity to use the information collected in the memories of the characters in a debate with many: it seems that "everyone comes to seek refuge in Switzerland", I was told that "the Roma originated in Romania, I think that "in Switzerland, less than one person in 10 speaks more than 3 languages" ...

Developed within the framework of an Innossuisse project which brought together several Hautes Écoles and a serious game studio, the context speaks of the Roma in Switzerland, but is adaptable to any population victim of prejudice.
