This smartphone application called DolorAppCHUV was developed through a collaboration between the analgesia center of the CHUV and the platform-Health Engineering (HEIG-VD & HESAV).
It aims to raise the level of pain of patients in an automated manner.
DolorAppCHUV must replace a paper form and make the collection more systematic and reliable information.
The information collected should enable better management of patients.
The right to use the camera application allows the latter to initiate basic settings via the barcode reading. This read / write saves the patient's pain measures in case of temporary absence of internet connection. These measurements are automatically deleted from the phone to the end of the study.
