The NDS app from Jugend+Sport (J+S) makes it easier for you to fill out the attendance check and edit Y+S activities during everyday sports!
The Federal Office for Sport BASPO promotes sport and exercise in Switzerland and their positive, useful and necessary role in society at federal level. J+S is the largest sports funding program in the federal government. Y+S courses and camps are open to all children and young people between the ages of 5 and 20. J+S managers, J+S experts and J+S coaches receive training and further training in management training. J+S pays out around CHF 100 million in subsidies to clubs, national sports and youth associations, schools, cantons and other partners. The FOSPO is supported by the cantons and associations in the implementation, further development and monitoring of the Y+S programme.
The "National Database for Sport" (NDS) is used to manage and process all Y+S courses and Y+S camps as well as Y+S subsidies. This application manages over 940,000 participations by children and young people in Y+S courses and camps every year. The NDS now registers around 100,000 hits per month.
With the NDS app, you as a Y+S leader can use a reduced range of functions of the web application on your smartphone. The most important functionalities of the NDS app are:
- Overview of open presence checks
- Attendance control of the J+S courses and camps
- Enter, edit and delete Y+S activities (e.g. training).
- View and edit J+S courses and camps
- Add or remove people from Y+S courses and camps
- Manage app settings (e.g. language, dark mode, biometric login)
