After you create an account (or log in with your business Microsoft 365 account*), you can create a betting group and invite friends to bet on the World Cup matches and world champion with them.

You and your work colleagues can also log in with your Microsoft 365 business account to start a betting group with each other. A betting group will be created automatically. Setting up a new account and inviting friends is no longer necessary. Just click on the "Sign in with Microsoft 365" button and start typing!
First you have to bet on a world champion. Please note that you can only submit this tip as long as the World Cup has not yet started. Afterwards this input is blocked.
If you guess the world champion correctly, you can earn extra points. So don't forget to tip in time!
The situation is similar with the result tips for each game. Please give the tip before the game starts, otherwise no more input will be possible.
It is up to you whether you want to give all tips just before the game or all at once. You can also adjust the tips again, but only as long as the game has not yet started.
Please also note that the group games are only activated at the moment. Logically, the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final only follow when the pairings are known.
In the group games, the following points can be won for each pairing:
5 points:
Exact prediction: Your tip corresponds exactly to the final result.
3 points:
Correct tendency AND correct goal difference: For example, you bet 3:2 and the end result is 4:3. So you bet on the correct winner and the correct goal difference.
2 points:
Correct Bias: If you bet on the correct winner or a corresponding tie.
Attention: There are only draws in the group phase games!

Wrong tip
In order to keep the betting game exciting until the end, there will be more points to be won in the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and the final, but this will be shown to you again in the app.
The principle with an exact prediction, correct trend and correct goal difference, correct trend and wrong tip remains the same.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- From the round of 16 there can be no more ties!
This is followed by a 30-minute overtime and a possible penalty shoot-out until a winner is determined. A corresponding draw tip of e.g. 1:1 would be worthless!
From the round of 16, always bet on a winner!
- You ALWAYS bet on the final result. So including the goals from extra time and a possible penalty shoot-out.
Let’s take the legendary round of 16 between France and Switzerland from 2021 as an example: The correct bet would have been 7:8 (i.e. all goals in regular time, extra time and penalty shoot-out added up).
- Only when a game has started do you also see the tips of the other players.
